Thank you so much! Our fab night out at The Station, 19th August 2021 - EP release party

Thank you so much to all our family, friends and supporters who turned out in full to make our EP release party such a marvellous evening for us.  We have received so much wonderful feedback (and another couple of gig offers!) - here are a few of the comments: "We had a fantastic time and were so very impressed, you must all be very happy with how it went. We are the proud owners of your new EP, and I shall have it playing in the car later, just like that scene from Wayne‘s world!" (Pete D), "It was super to hear some great live music again and see some old faces - thanks for the invite and please update me on future gigs" (Andrew S), Fantastic gig - love the "hey" "ho"" (Mark A), "It was a magnificent evening. The music was outstanding!" (Wendy E), "It was a really lovely evening and the music was brilliant !!!" (Abbie S)", "What a great evening. Reminded me of our old Ronnie Scott's days!!" (Sue C).

EP Release Party FULLY SOLD OUT Thursday 19th August at The Station pub, Kings Heath

Thank you so much for the wonderful support we have received leading up to our EP release party at The Station, Kings Heath.  We have had an incredible response from our supporters which means that our gig is fully sold out and there is a waiting list.  Everyone who has secured a spot at the gig will be notified by email and there will be an official guest list on the night.  Please watch this space for more gigs soon.

Thank you to Mark Easter for this fab pic of a typical rehearsal June 2021

We really enjoyed our acoustic gig at The Fighting Cocks, Moseley, 23rd July 2021

We were delighted to get such a great review from Shaun, manager at The Fighting Cocks "Thanks to @tayzandthedrolls for their amazing set.  Watch this space as we will have them back for a full set soon".  The crowd were in fine voice, joining in heartily with all the covers and even some of our original music - anyone would think they hadn't heard live music for over a year...

SUCCESS for our new release "What Do You Want"!

We are delighted to announce that our new release "What Do You Want" has just been selected for airplay on BBC Introducing West Midlands on Saturday 15th May 2021 between 8 pm and 10 pm (BBC WM 95.6).

The track release notes: "Will a one night stand develop into a committed relationship?  Deep uncertainties, wistfulness, hope, frustration and despair cry out in the lyrics, spiralling arpeggios and dark pulsating rhythm, all of which drive towards an inevitable conclusion."

This is brilliant news for us as we begin to build towards our live performances at various gigs after lockdown eases - hopefully you will come along and support us when we play at a venue near you!

Our description for What Do You Want

This song reflects on the process of dating and whether a one night stand might develop into a more committed relationship. Deep uncertainties, wistfulness, hope, frustration and despair cry out in the lyrics, spiralling arpeggios and dark, pulsating rhythm, all of which drive towards a seemingly inevitable conclusion.

New song released March 2021

Our new song "Sometimes" was released on Friday 12th March.  This was the first song written by the band back in 2019 - so it holds a special place in our hearts.  Kayt wrote the lyrics and melody, Chris contributed the keys, Steve wrote the guitar parts and Tauny the drums.  Ade brought it all together in a beautifully produced song.

Breaking news! Our new single “Sometimes” was played on BBC Introducing - West Midlands on Saturday 27th March!!  Really lovely comments from Alex Noble, thanks!
